About the Winery
The Lurgashall Winery nestles in a 38-acre estate beneath Blackdown Hill, the highest point in West Sussex where the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson once had his home. We're housed in a complex of award-winning 17th and 19th century farm buildings, whose rustic style complements the country nature of our products. Inside, the site is anything but rustic, being self-contained with fermentation, maturation and bottling vats, and modern, high quality equipment in a sterile bottling room and fully equipped laboratory.

When we began production in 1985 we had two employees, twelve customers and produced a thousand bottles. Today the Winery employs 22 full and part-time staff, has more than a thousand regular stockists and its annual production approaches half a million bottles!

We’re proud to offer traditional English liqueurs, meads and wines made only from the finest natural ingredients: none of our products are touched by any essences, flavourings or artificial ingredients. The Winery also follows time-honoured recipes as closely as possible, to ensure that we maintain authentic flavours.

So raise your glasses and enjoy a true 'Taste of England'. Cheers!

We are able to offer bespoke labelling for events throughout the year. It can be one label for a unique gift or alternatively 200 or more labels for a wedding reception. We also supply wedding favours which are a 5cl bottles with personalised label.
